It's a 2D isometric game with pre-rendered graphics. It's as 3D as Donkey Kong Country.

This is harsh, it's definitely more 3D than DKC as you only move in a 2D axis there, while Sonic 3D Blast has movement on a 3D axis, even if it's "fake" 3D it's still more 3D than something 100% 2D.
