I did beat all four acts on Switch while taking my morning shits, but playing it on PC like it was intended makes me have to barf. Shit sucks.

The only FPS I ever got motion sickness from was Marathon 2. I'm not entirely sure why but it's the only game that did it to me.

The build engine games give me wicked motion sickness but not Wolf3D/Doom/Quake. The not-retro RE 7 and 8 are the absolute worst though. Couldn't play for more than 10 minutes without feeling like my eyeballs were spinning.

You're playing at too high of a framerate. Anything above 24 gives a very eerie hollow feeling that's why you're feeling sick your brain didn't accept the uncanny valley of artificiality. This is why cinema and television programs are filmed at lower framerates.
