So, tgfm just brought back a discussion that has been wiped under the rug for too much time now.
The slobs and screenwave dust has finally settled, and people are starting to question Matei again.
It's bizarre, but Mike (who was never liked in the old days), managed to not only make people forget about his bullshit but also make people praise him as "the real avgn", "mike was the genius all along", when in truth, James was still the one writing majority of scripts and acting as the nerd. The nerd comes off as this genuinely pissed off nerd but deep down you can sympathize with him. Mike's emotional childish tantrums on Twitch aren't relatable and are cringe.
Anyway, Mike started being "friendly" toward the redditer truthers (ironically, since tct was created because of Matei banning everyone on the official sub reddit), and he even appeared on a video with those red cow channel, basically enforcing the "mike was the real genius behind avgn" meme which is going strong even today.
But now, people are starting to remember elvis8bit and how he tried to defend himself anonymously, how he faked a dick pic. Question is: were those things just silly things that can be forgotten?
It says a lot about Mike's character.
