So for leagues like Serie A or EPL with a quota for foreign players the game just automatically assigns the players that have been at the club longest. I swear I couldn't move any of players in the tactics screen. Then I clicked little down arrow button in the player instructions popup and the game crashed. That's me done for today.

The UI is very strange, feels very cheap and flimsy, like it will break at any moment and nothing has any substance. There's a slight delay on everything you click (except when there isn't and you end up clicking something else by mistake). The whole system of having some screens be popups and others be actual pages seems intentionally designed to be as confusing as possible. The back button is completely unreliable. The visual bugs are amateurish.

Do like the potential of the tactics and the visualiser though. And I can see the transfer room stuff being useful.

You're allowed 5 subs but only 3 stoppages. Did I miss a rule change?

Found out that you get a softlock if a contract negotiation for a player shows up at the same time as matchday.
So be careful when you start doing those offers, save beforehand just to make sure it doesn't end up at the same time.

Softlock can't be solved with a restart or any other action, even if you holiday through the match, you won't be able to continue, my only solution was to rollback to a prior save.

Me and my mate have played over 6 Matches watching the full game highlights. And i have to say this is an entirely new level of quality to the match engine, to the point it feels like a waste to have spent so much time on the previous engines. We have played three different systems, at three different Clubs and were able to replicate exactly the kind of system and playstyle we wanted to, also using a lot of individual instructions which translated very evidently into the match engine. There's some struggle with wing backs in 3 atb systems, and generally wingers seem a bit overtuned with their one on ones, but id rather take this than what the match engine offered. There are so many fine details, there's so much more flow of play and creativity, a team has a distinct and directly visible identity and even opponents are immediately identifiable in their playstyle. Im still somewhat skeptical for the simple reason that it seems too good to be true.

The interface is absolutely unbelievable though. There's a new ridiculous bug every time we enter a new screen and the general design of it is unbelievably bad. Mind boggling really.

Weve still been stuck to it for the whole day trying to experiment with the match engine, so im actually positively surprised.
