Yea it's what has been planned I think but they didn't have enough time or resource so they've scrapped a lot of content. Like there's potential for 1EW to end in different ways depending on how many optional objectives captures but it was scrapped and amounts to nothing since you get them in your faction anyway through sinking pp. Also you're forced to sit in cuck chair and watch as germany steamrolls over europe for some reason. Also the whole nato victory path is undercooked and sucks from design perspective. You shouldn't declare on all of nato right after losing for no reason. There should be an option for nato/eu to disband if far-right/commies take over.

Basically let europe and russia take actions pointed at making their 1ew easier which raises tension. Or they can deescalate so they get more time. Then, instead of war starting after a set amount of time in Ukraine, it does when escalation reaches peak.

I'd say that you should go back to /uhg/ but to give your question a serious answer: Russia's actual and genuine problems are represented in many ways. It one of the worst general rosters in the mod with most of their commanders having a skill level of 1 or debuffs like Old Guard and Politically Connected. I think it's more about the agenda of the mod. TNO sets out to be the most realistic political simulation ever, exclusively for serious people. The fact that it fails spectacularly is another matter. A good example of it being unrealistic is that it copies many events straight out of real life without any care for the setting. On one hand it's realistic since it happened in real life. It's a long story and to be honest it's more of one side thing from June and his friends trying to start shit with tota. It all started when everyone was busy irl on the dev server and one day June gave moderation power to his friend (Noober) and deleted two dev channels (I think it's Russian-sphere and Latin America), which promptly caused him and his friend to get banned and kicked out. Later on tota and mc cut ties with one and another, I got banned from mc server, which to be fair I wasn't that active that much.
June then started to begin stealing ideas from tota and even blantantly copy tota's teaser like Hoxha AI, Thailand's starting teaser, etc. even post a SEs video on the same date with tota's update.
Again, I'll have to deeply apologize the ruckus on the thread. I don't mind if June want to make his own mods or whatever, but the fact that he keeps making this endless resentment posts and mock his former coworkers really speak to me how much your mind is occupied with seething, resentment, and spite. Most of us rarely care about you and MC. I'll admit that Galen did fucked up and that our development is slow but at the end of the day it's a hobby, not a full time job. This is highly retarded and may be more effort than its worth but here's how you can get a version of the mod that won't save break from an update.

First just get notepad++ you'll need it later. You will also need a steam copy of hoi4.
Go to hoi4 on steam, click manage then click browse local files.
Go to the top of the screen and click steamapps in the user directory. Then go to workshop and then content.
Go to the folder labeled 394360 (this is the hoi4 folder) and then search 3350890356 (this is the tfr folder) copy the tfr folder and paste it onto your desktop.
Then go to "this pc" and then documents, then go to paradox interactive, hearts of iron 4, mod.
Go back to your desktop and copy paste your tfr folder into the mod folder. Rename the folder to tfr2
Now go into your tfr folder and edit the descriptor.mod file with notepad++. Scroll down to the bottom till you get to name="The Fire Rises" . You can change this to anything but we can just say tfr2 (you must keep the quotations). Then save that edit by clicking the floppy disk at the top.
Now copy that descriptor file and paste it into the mod folder with the rest of the descriptor files. Rename this one (not the first) to tfr2.
Now edit this second descriptor file again with notepad++. Now you want to make a new line right above the last thing in the file (the remote id) and paste the following; path="C:/Users/Administrator/Documents/Paradox Interactive/Hearts of Iron IV/mod/tfr2"
Again save with floppy disk and now tfr2 should be in your hoi4 launcher. It will never update so don't need to worry about save breaks.

Bug? It's the end of 2020 and they've got like 40% support and I only saw two events that boosted them by like 5% total.

Managed to destroy the krauts and their little alliance and easily invaded Britain after stealing navies from here and there (britain was already weak anyways)
So far everything seems easy and can be invaded, I'll have to move my navy to Asia to invade the only country with a strong navy (japan) and that I dont have a land connection with it

When they expand on Franz, do you think there will be a place for Gunther? Unironically his doctrine could be employed effectively by a National Socialist Germany, having him radicalised by the Communist conquest of Eastern Europe would be quite a good story. It would also show just how Franz was able to sweep in and establish his regime when German politicians became so focused on revenge they let the more dubious elements of militarization slide until it is too late to stop it even they wanted to. Franz and Gunther could also become gym bros. Bench press in the bombed out Kremlin by 2033.

Looks like the hotfix fixed the repeating events, thank God. Change Durma leader decision still isn't doing anything though.

What's the new DLC adding? Also regardless of whatever it is I doubt we'll see 1.1 before middle of next year. While they have teased a shit ton of stuff, I'm still not holding my breathe for an early 2026 release date. We'll probably get a 1.0.9 update in February/March of next year and 1.1 in June/July. Requiem released what they promised, on time, without game breaking bugs and it actually has wars and gameplay. I'd say they get a passing grade. TNO delivered an extended event chain and TFR's content sounds the best on paper but it'll take a few hotfixes to get there.

Replacing ACW with some kind of January 6 event that goes nowhere would be a good start. Then have 1EW just be a proxy war with limited volunteers and heavy scripting to prevent movement because everyone has to take in political considerations. If you do this then the mod will be significantly worse and you'll be on your way to become a TNO dev.

I haven't really noticed that in the updates (outside of this one), but yeah hopefully they takeaway some good lessons from this and check in on what the more independent teams are doing. Even if they've got a good track record it never hurts to take a peak and make sure everything is smooth sailing.

Plenty of the 2ACW tags still need loc for descriptions/events and unique gameplay mechanics. However I haven't noticed much placeholder content.

True, they did get a lot of flack for having almost no loc on launch, but people ultimately were willing to look past that because the mod is fun and they said they would add more and have added more loc overtime.
