I have plenty of Hololive friends and acquaintances I've met over the years at events and judging by discord chatter and DMs, a lot of us got both days. I myself got both days. Every dedicated fan who travels for these concerts was trying for both days. They know this, too, which is why the concerts have different setlists and content.
The system let you parallel buy Saturday and Sunday, it wasn't a single queue for both, it was two queues, so I'm not sure what you mean by how the system works.
In any case, we can't assume that 12k people got these tickets. I can personally guarantee that's not the case. As a corollary, it's also certainly not the case that 6k people will be there (perfect doubling), it's gonna be somewhere in the middle, ~8k or something.
