The situation is probably a bit more complicated than just saying "We found nothing and publicly conclude our investigation". They would get shit on for letting Aster back in after last year's leaked Scarle DM's and Twisty's claims, but at the same time they probably don't want him back either since he's a pain in the ass to keep in terms of reputation and he doesn't seem to learn either.
