I guess this is the thread for it, so let's say I've hypothetically been toying with the idea of putting videos on youtube or wherever as an indie vtuber.

With that out the way: if I'm making videos on a variety of different types of stuff (music, art/animation, maybe some vidya, etc), would I need to segregate it into separate channels for different topics, or could I get away with uploading everything onto a single channel?

making multiple channels for each hobby seems like a waste of time, but if you just upload anything and everything then your channel will lack focus, I would recommend focusing on a few hobbies first, also you can make full use of shorts for example

If your game content is just normal playthroughs you can make the good parts into shorts, you can also turn recordings of your art process into shorts, you can also make shorts about art tips and it goes without saying that animating is a very time consuming process so you can make animation into shorts

the few things you cannot make into shorts are long term content like game reviews and video essays

see what sticks and what doesnt, you can always make a second channel once you have an audience

Just finished my Yu-Gi-Oh video. It was pretty bad in pacing, not gonna lie, but I wanted to release it today so no more adjustments were made.
Sadly, it's in Spanish so I can't shill it here, but it wasn't exactly great to begin with.
If I uploaded it, it wasn't because it was great, but because with every video I make I get better, so might as well get them out too and see if someone's interested in them. It's also so I stay motivated to release a video every week or else the algorithm will kill me and my family.

/asp/ no longer has community anchors, so newer aspies don't know where to go when we say 'follow and interact with aspies' since the only people who choose to associate with the thread are newer gens who have little to no connections with the broader community.

I would say Megino is somewhat an anchor, but not a lot of older aspies watch him.
