I tried hyping through the app and it's actually pretty easy, I'll have to remember to do it every week. It looks like you can do all three weekly hypes on the same video for triple points (I did the rabbit date).

I wonder if it would be most effective if somehow we worked out a single video a week to all hype? Do hypes reset after 7 days from use, or is it at the actual start of the week on Sunday morning, or some other day? Does anyone kno?

Honestly I think trying TOO hard to game the system can be counterproductive anyway versus growing organically by doing what you enjoy and are good at. Yeah, you should be aware of these metrics, but it doesn't necessarily need to be obsessed over either

I think the stated goal of wanting to make the "algorithm" a bit less of a black box does actually make more sense from that perspective, since advertisers have up until now had to kind of trust Youtube at their word that stuff is being directed efficiently so having simple, understandable metrics can go a long way
