Let me explain. For a year Luca pretended to be the greatest Minecraft player of all time. A legend of Minecraft, a legend of building complex structures.
It came out later on, that his 'secretary' was building all of this for him, using his account, in creative mode. In fact, posing as him while other streamers were live on the server. He showed the others around his theme park, and when the rides broke he had no idea how to fix them, because he didn't build them.
In fact later on this guy did a "hardcore challenge" and didn't even know how to build a wooden chest, and relied on chat to coach him through the basics of building a nether portal. Some expert indeed.

Anyway this pretend-expert logged onto the server using the wrong minecraft version. The result was the complete obliteration of all the chunks around spawn, which accounted for a majority of the builds. Pomu's in particular were completely demolished besides a tiny corner of one building, which was particularly devastating since Minecraft was the bread and butter of her content.
Finana was in charge of keeping the server, and being a dumbass she didn't have any backups. They managed to load a very old backup which didn't have nearly any of the builds. But they decided against using that. It was Luca's brilliant decision to use the mangled server, but fill in the corrupted spots with worldedit. He went all around changing mountains into diamond, building huge mountains of sand, spawning in infinite items.....etc.

In the end, Luca refused to apologize for his mistake, forcing the others to step in an "apologize for him".
Afterwards, the mangled obliterated server died and the audience lost interest in it. This basically cut out the core of Pomu's content.

What actually happened is even more egregious. Luca and Elira wanted to play a horror map that required 1.7. Luca was granted admin by Finana so he effectively cloned the settings from the old server to make a new instance... except he changed the version on the main server. Changing it back led to overwriting of the spawn chunk's biome.

She did, but they had a habit of overwriting themselves or just being corrupted, so the only two viable backups she had were either from 3 months prior or from literally two minutes after the version change (which overwrote what would've been a good backup!).

Neither of these are correct. Pomu kept playing until her graduation. The real issue was that everybody else (save for Aia and Uki) stopped. To a degree this was already happening but the nuking of many of the oldest builds, Luca trivializing early-game with diamond mountains + spawned-in items, ... it all culminated in mostly everybody abandoning the server and never coming back outside of large events. Now THAT killed (part) of her content as it forced her to make every Minecraft stream a zatsu since little to no interactions were possible, unlike the old days.

The last collab between Holo ID and Niji EN was the Lethal Company collab with Ollie, Kaela, Zen (then of Vshojo), and Reimu. Happened right after the black screen, but the business contract for the collab had been signed beforehand (and probably before the previous Lethal Company collab with Zen, Reimu, and Nerissa; the same collab which was originally scheduled to have Selen in it, before the company pushed her to the point of no return)

Incidentally, the two LC collabs were the only two collab streams ever with all three companies, with each collab being the only triple collab between the respective Holo branch and both of the other two companies.
