I can't really try it out since my PC busted, spent money helping my mother buy another, and I am saving for Rissa's bday. But I'll be watching. The concept I've been against since Metaverse is just not a good idea until we make more available and more affordable VR tech, and that the tech should be GiTS level with neural input. It is definitely a "we made this to sell digital goods" but hopefully they end up making something for it. After all, even Fallout 76 and No Man's Sky eventually became something after a bit. Although, as someone who has worked on games, people tend to overexaggerate the fact that games get polished over time. Postmortems would show that incomplete games were common, we just ended up making sequels to add what lacked before and people hardly recognize the difference, as a whole lotta jank is beloved today.

That said, if companies actually invest well into QA, which very few really do, a lot of problems would be solved. I would hope Cover realizes this and does something risky but very good for PR, and has test servers for not just internal employees, but end up using fans. Sure, there is the risk of leaks and damn if some really silly people wouldn't abuse their tester status if they could(especially with the very silly types in the community that love attention more than doing good for the community), but I think it'd be good to do.

I feel the same way, even though I don't watch anyone except Rissa, I remember how Biboo announced her move to Japan a few months in advance, how she assured her fans that she would remain loyal to them and talked about how she would spend her time in Japan and her future plans, I even watched a few of her streams back then, she was sincere and joyful, just like her fans.
Rissa, on the other hand, after the first Japanese arc this year, it was as if she had been replaced, she became a secretive bitch, she stopped sharing her plans and experiences with the jailbirds, she began to constantly obscure, keep things under wraps, and avoid uncomfortable questions, she completely distanced herself from us, and the more time passed, the clearer this became.
That's why when she announced it so suddenly and casually, I didn't have any hype, since I had already assumed this scenario, because guessing what Rissa is doing and what she is striving for is the only thing left for the jailbirds, since for some reason she doesn't want to share it with us.
I really hope that over time she will overcome what is troubling her and come to her senses before it is too late, but I have practically no hope left.
