>You don't need to listen to apologetics to understand it
They are there to explain it so we don't err
>James 2:10 shows the folly of your attempts anyway
2:17 defies you.
>(before men, but not before God)
Invention. This is the reason with have the patristic commentaries
>pride/self-righteousness
How am I proud if I don't want my faith to be dead?
>thinking your filthy rags can purchase the gift of God
No but we need earn it otherwise Christ wouldn't have instructed us about anything.
>That's like a spit in God's face what you're doing
By reading the gospel of James?
>taking stuff out of context
I mentioned the whole book of James. What more am I supposed to do? Do you want me to say 'passus Bible'?
>were boasting of their "many wonderful works" who Jesus never knew
What's the problem here, the works or the boasting? We both know it's the boasting otherwise the Pharisee would have unjustified before he even entered the temple in which case Christ wouldn't have needed to tell us his prayer and how it was so different from the publican's prayer.

Why do I need to watch some guy who created his own church to interpret the Bible the way he wants to?
>But you just ignore all of the verses I post anyway
Really? Eph 2:9 proves my point about boasting being the problem, not the works. If someone can do works without boasting there is nothing against that.
>to think your works have anything at all to do with salvation.
The God of the living wants dead faith? Good to know
>You clearly didn't even watch the video I told you to watch
Yes, I don't need some guy sweet talking me into killing my faith. Tell me, did you read the apologetics of all the church fathers before Luther invented his church?
>I'm sure you'll remain deliberately ignorant,
Just like you of apologetics or James 2? lol
>I shouldn't need to explain these things over (...) and proven by the Bible.
So when are you going to post a verse showing that? Inventions don't count.
