The "rolling" in the song can be taken as simply "living", or more specifically as "going through the motions".
Rolling girl is stubbornly trying to find happiness as she forces herself to keep living one day at a time.
She's constantly assaulted by thoughts that tell her to give up, but despite the constant failures, despite the world having lost its color a long time ago, she refuses to give up.
Every time the thoughts return, she strangles them to death by using the excuse that there's still a possibility of finding happiness as long as she continues to live another day.
But as time goes on, and with her not finding any happiness at all, her resistance to the negative thoughts gradually weakens.
And as she accepts that there is no happiness to be found no matter how long she lives, she ends her life.
