Whenever I post here, and very sadly the inevitable troubled souls descend on my thread, they do not have any real argument against God. They have to resort to telling falsehoods about God and the Bible, or otherwise speak out of ignorance, even though in this day and age it's easier than ever to look up information and conduct research to find the answers for whatever question you have about God. Those who seek Him earnestly will find Him.

You do not entirely cease to become a sinner when you've accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
I confess that yesterday I sadly fell twice to a former sin addiction of mine. I felt very sad and disappointed with myself, but more importantly that I had let down God. But I did repent and ask God for forgiveness. His Holy Spirit didn't leave me. I could still feel His peace at the end of the night.
There was actually a moment shortly after I fell a second time to that (former) sin habit, when I was in the bathroom, where I felt the presence of something scary moving close behind me. This was the first time in a long time that I felt anything scary. No doubt it was a demon that gained access to my home because of what I had done. That's how that works. I prayed to Jesus and cast out all demons / evil spirits from in and around me. And then as I was laying on my bed about to sleep, I said another prayer asking for forgiveness. That's when I had peace again and was able to sleep well. Thank you Lord.

I want to ask here since I have a question regarding God. The last time I was around Christians I didn't get much of an answer. What is the power of God exactly? I mean it in this sense. Say he has the ability to see the past, present, and future. That means he can be there to witness the birth of a normal boy. However, he knows the future so he knows that seeing this boy, he sees that this boy will never willingly accept God/Jesus into his heart. This implies some weird ideas to me. How do you guys cope with the whole Israel/Iran thing?
Honestly, to tell you the truth, a couple years ago I was much closer to Christ Jesus. I want to be in the same place I was, but I simply am not.
And one thing I have always struggled with- now especially, is this whole end times type stuff seemingly going on.
I mean we’ve got civil unrest, earthquakes happening in various places, people these days are pretty close to GONE in terms of logic and politics, and now Israel/Iran.
I mean at this point I wouldn’t be surprised if a 7 year peace treaty came out of this.
The past 2 years I’ve been living in sin. I was living close to Jesus for about a year, but long story short my life changed and I fell into doing a lot of things I shouldn’t do in a life I shouldn’t have been in. I spent time in prayer and scripture last night and tonight, but I’m worried about events going on in the world and my own salvation.

You're actually talking about a form of religion that is essentially the occult. It's in occultism where the follower has to gain "secret knowledge" in order to "ascend".
I've encountered a few troubled souls both on here and in a thread on /pol/ where they tried to lead others astray by making them doubt the truth of the gospel. I'm not even sure if it's willful deception on their part, or they're just very lost and misguided. It is a sure bet that this evil tactic of trying to make people doubt Jesus and the Bible comes from the devil either way. Countless people don't even realize how much of their thoughts are given to them by the devil and demons. I used to be lost myself in certain ways. Thank God I was set free.
