It's been months since I started to turn around my life and finally get into a more spiritual/arcane journey, and while taking a walk I just found a cool stick that called to me and I took it home.

I gotta break this into two parts. Be sure to read it all because it starts off pretty tough but hope comes in the end.
I treated this as two questions and pulled three cards for each--today and the rest of this month.

Well, you got a pretty tough deal here. Today has some pretty difficult energy in it for you. Princess of swords tells me that there will be some interpersonal conflict with either you feeling like you have to challenge someone or something or you yourself being challenged in a way that puts you on the defensive. Then we have everyone's favorite, Death. Of course, this doesn't mean someone is going to die. Rather there will be something that comes to a resolute and certain end. It will not be a minor thing, either. Especially since we also have the ten of swords. This card puts a negative spin on things.

As for the rest of the month, it's still not a lot of fun. Both the Heirophant and the Queen of wands indicate stubbornness. This is especially true with the presence of the seven of cups, which the force that triggers the stubbornness. The seven of cups is a swamp, stagnant and impassable. On each side are willful figures who insist on their way. Unstoppable forces against immovable objects. It is, at least, two against one so whoever these figures are they will eventually prevail. But for this month you have a slog which will require some persistence to get through.

I pulled trump #9 the Hermit, trump #17 the Star and 10 of cups.

This tells me it would be helpful to take a solid moment to go within yourself and figure out what is the most important thing to you right now. A 'north star' as people call it will give you a higher perspective that will let you skate over most of the grungy base problems that want to ruin your day and month. But it has to be the most elevated thing you can come up with. Not your overall life purpose, but at least a higher value or greater goal that is bigger than the slings and arrows of day to day life. The ten of cups is a card of fulfillment, success of a higher order than simple material success. I think these cards are saying that if you can stay in touch with aspirations that would truly satisfy you it will be the beacon that guides you through the difficulties of the near future.
