things slow down until time doesnt appear to pass in meditation
eventually one is able to detect the energetic precursors that precede a random thought and deal with them before it pops

Holy based, Yeah i train tabimina balintawak (Filipino martial specifically designed around reflex development) and several other martial arts and i also play tournament league dodgeball, You'd be surprised what matrix shit i could do. second, that the body needs to be conditioned in order to perform optimally
third, that random sense neurological potentials form the basis for the origination for randomly arising thoughtforms
keeping the attention momentarily utilizes this potential fully, but then the inefficiencies creep in and perturbations happen, once a sufficient remainder builds up then the random thoughtform is the balancing mechanism

well, ideally my path will have been longer than anons reading this these days, because a lot of the things I teach on the fundamentals are things I had to troubleshoot myself
you can only read so much, the rest is in the doing, so I try to give others the benefit of my troubleshooting efforts
I spent about a year in troubleshooting and training my body before I really understood how to make things work
but there's also the energy built up during training, this helps drive longer breaths
once I understood, it took me a further 3 months to experience the spark of spiritual light arising
I almost wrote make it arise, but that is just wrong, one does not make such a thing arise
one can only arrange the conditions for its arising, the better one does this, the more likely it is to happen
I experienced things like the acceleration of metabolism about 2/3rds of the way to this with breaths averaging 45-50 seconds
but as this is also a matter of conditioning, I have conditioned myself, wrecked it, conditioned again, many, many times
so for me now this acceleration and the energetically potent stillness arise at 30-35 seconds
at my best I achieved minute and a half, its like a sparkly glowy energy healing bath every night when you sit there for 2 hours in this state and dont really experience the passage of time, just sitting for a moment
this is where cultivating the ability to keep the attention shines
for as soon as your attention falters, so does the spark
I could see such a thing being halo worthy if extended far enough, but of course I live in stupid society and stresses detract from my practices, so at some point shit like that becomes a thing and you understand why monks go innawoods

that is precisely what OP asked for. INCREASED reaction time is sluggishness.
to gauge it, use the falling ruler method. or a two button smartphone stopwatch.
non /x/ methods : downers, food, tiredness.
/x/ methods : inducing sleep, sloth and torpor by meditating on the factors that cause them.

as for non /x/ methods to DECREASE reaction time : stimulants. heavy stimulants have been proved to decrease "reality framerate" to around 120 Hz max.
/x/ methods : vipassanna and samadhi, a careful balance of these techniques. that would go way above the 120 Hz rate.

as for weed and natural cannabinoids they are mostly downers (cannabinol/cannabidiol) but thc seems to give a sense of slowing the perception of the flow of time for most people, but not for small (milliseconds) time intervals, so they cannot be categorized as decreasing reaction time.

second this when i was playing cs went from ~220ms to ~130ms when ranking from silver 3 or so to double ak i also used to carry the team so realistic rank was idk probably 2 or so ranks higher meditation also helps a little and so does cardio though both of those mainly for only like an hour or 2 after them

nah I was given that name by anons for having mentioned that one of the big keys to meditation is more or less tricking the olfactory nerve by bringing the flow of air beneath the threshold of turbulence, this stops the energy consumption of the senses when you can have airflow be as such for the duration of a meditation session.
the senses use up a lot more energy than you might think, but without a shift in baseline to where you're not consuming at all, you are never able to say this with any surety
pretty sure I am not one of those mythical super smellers, but its better to be one of those mythical people that concretely attained samahdi and can explain the process to others along with caveats and other things that take place along the path there. most of what I write is from my own experience, a good amount of it you wont find in any book on meditation, because nobody approaches it from a neurological angle and proceeds with sheer practice rigor

It's very hard to explain. Watch Ken Wheeler's videos to get a grasp of it.

Full blueprint is to have harmonically tuned clear quartz crystals that acts as sinks for electrical discharge. Depending on the geometry (critically important), you can direct the flow of the energy that passes through them. You need to helically wind counter rotating wires at precise geometries and pulse the crystal. It should look like a DNA strand when done with wire polarities running in opposite directions. This will build dielectric coherence into it if you perfectly wound and pulsed it and also if the crystal is properly geometrically constructed (based on phi ratios for all of this across all dimensions). Phi spacing on wound coils. This will create a coherent implosive event and an EMF vortex trap that will stabilize the coherence structure inside of the crystal and it will build up dielectric coherence. If it is single terminated, the coherence will shoot out of the tip that is pointy when it is fully saturated. Charge it and literally just aim it at your body.

If you focus enough dielectric coherence it should unironically be something like that, yes. I haven't built my setup yet, but I intend to before long. That shit is just expensive though. Tight engineering requirements vs lack of funds. Ancient tech was so large to reduce tolerances and they also had laser precise engineering. Imagine what they could do.

Also, if you go into the pyramid of Giza and resonate inside of it, it will have a similar effect. Play golden harmonics if you can. Hymn to St John the Baptist. Should literally vibrate your body into coherent alignment at the proper frequencies. Same effect. Probably much more potent than having to rely on making a rinky dink setup

Schematics? Haven't drawn any up yet. All of this technology is based on phi geometric ratios. But you can roughly get in the ballpark with what I described

phi ratio of length to width on the crystal
and of the pyramid tip base to height
the wires must be phi diameter wires to phi diameter crystal width
helical winding must be phi, so the distance covered per each wrap must be increased by phi each time it wraps around

Pulse it at a low frequency somewhere in the 60hz-400hz range, probably also phi ratio harmonic. Depending on how well your ratios are set, you should be literally be able to see space bending around the tip of the crystal as the coherence is shot out. If you do it with lab grade precision, you'll see an actual laser beam of bent space come out. Tolerances are based on goal. Might not want a laser if you're inundating your body with it. Power needs depend on ratios. Output depends on ratios. Voltage required depends on ratios. Ideally should be quartz due to piezoelectric and dielectric properties, but if you build a massive device and flood it with power you can use another material, even plastic with enough power. It all depends man. This stuff takes days or weeks to digest until it finally clicks. But this is Tesla tech. If you want to know how it works, keep watching Ken.
