>Is the left hand path simply superior in power to the self, and right hand is just obedience, as in, likesome of identifying with the domitor, subjugated, stupid, owned?
No. Neither have much to do with that dichotomy, though are often portrayed as such.
Energetically the right hand gives off energy, and the left hand absorbs it. Right hand path is about giving to the universe, and left hand path is about taking from it. Of course, if you know electrical energy, you can't have a circuit without both a positive and a negative flow, meaning neither giving nor receiving can exist without the other.
Then, what is the difference between the two? Its about the consciousness of the act. The left hand path person will perform acts for themselves, becoming more conscious of the universe given to the self, whereas the right hand path will try to facilitate the process of giving to the universe, and becoming more conscious of the universe the self gave to.
But there is no change to the total mass of 'stuff' in the universe, whether you give or receive, its still all exists in the same quantity as before.
So what is the actual difference? Its has to do with the consciousness of the act. The left hand path entity will become more conscious of that which they take into themselves, and the right hand path will become more conscious of that which they give of themselves towards. So the left hand path is growing an inward tree of increasing awareness of the universe received by the self, whereas the right hand path will be growing a tree of awareness towards the universe. Both acts, in essence, grow the consciousness of existence. The left hand path tries to give the full creation to their self, and in so doing recognize the benefit of all existence and their own self to be one and the same.
The right hand path gives the self to the creation fully, and in so doing sees that their own benefit is the benefit of the whole existence.
