SIRIUS, KARMA, AND THE LAW OF PERIODICITY

Sirian force, as we have just seen, is intimately connected with the Cosmic Mental Plane, since the consciousness of the Sirian Logos resides upon that plane. Hence, in a basic way, Sirian influence carries the force of the Cosmic Mental Plane.

This plane, as mentioned above, is the dimension or level from which the Law of Karma issues forth. The Law of Karma itself, as an even earlier discussion brought out, is but an equivalent of the Second Aspect or the Law of Attraction, the Law of Attraction in turn strongly related to Sirius and the basis of cyclicity or periodicity. Thus emerges an almost circular linkage between Sirius, the Cosmic Mental Plane, and the Laws of Karma, Attraction and Periodicity.

These ponderous forces and energies are great spiritual principles exerting enormous influence over the conditions in which evolution proceeds.

Within the structure of evolutionary process, perhaps one of the most influential is the Law of Karma. Karma, a word from the Sanskrit language, has numerous subtleties and shadings of denotation as well as of connotation. It is derived from the Sanskrit root KR, meaning to do, to act. One of the most fundamental meanings of the word is, therefore, simply action and its results.

The Tibetan tells us that the principle of consequences from prior action pertains to all that there is. He says,

>“Everything is, in its totality, the result of action taken by cosmic Essences and Entities in earlier solar systems, which is working out through the individual atoms which we call forms.”

Thus, the very existence of our solar system is testimony to the influence of previous actions taken. Existence itself is a type of Karma.

Light will prevail over darkness, Truth will conquer falsehood; Ma'at will return, Isfet will be cast out -- this is what we should strive for and work towards
