Wanting to get some thoughts on this reading I did for myself.

I want to know if I understand the problems that lead to my unhappiness, and if my plan to escape it makes sense. The plan is basically to pick something creative and see it through, without overthinking and without perfectionism, but completing it fully. Basically, I want to know if that will make me feel like I have purpose and help me be a better person.

Well for your personal health it's better to throw the plastic away as that stuff off gasses and you are just keeping poison that's seeping into your skin around. Even if you die from keeping the plastic away from others, eventually someone will move it from cleaning up your corpse. Personally, I think that’s the right move here. You seem to be approaching this issue as if it were clean and simple, but it is actually entangled with your greater desires for life more than you would like it to be. This dissonance is what is keeping you from thinking clearly. You have to contextualize this within the context of what you really want in your life overall, not just career.

It's funny that you picked up on that. My boyfriend has actually been talking to me about proposing next year, which is also when I would start working in this new industry (I finish my training in December). That relationship is also taking up a lot of my brain power so I can imagine the tarot picked up on that.
