You can check if you want. Go to a psychiatrist and get antipsychotics prescribed to you. If you take them and they don't work, demons. Another good way to check is whether or not you feel an aversion to holy iconography or things like hymns. Do you avert your gaze when you see a cross? Do you get the ick feeling when you see someone preaching? Strong indication. What you have already is a classic case of oppression, assuming you aren't just a schizophrenic.

Our feelings aren't our own. We aren't meant to feel random rage, anxiety or dispair for no reason. We aren't supposed to have intrusive thoughts. If we are its a negative influence. I know because when I prayed for help it all stopped and when it creeps back up I notice where as before I was so used to the negativity I thought it was normal.

Ask Jesus directly for help. Pray he rebukes the voices and the depression, anger, whatever vice is making you miserable. Ask Him to break any convenient made knowingly or unknowingly and any other kind of spiritual attachments not of God.

I take abilify and hardly have auditory hallucinations occur anymore, but it made me fat. But I'm manic bipolar.
One time I was drinking, and the next night laying down I hear a distorted voice inside my head saying, "He gets like that when he's drunk"
Only have conversations with people at night when I am asked questions like my name and sort by the night hag, but these auditory hallucinations come from outside the head in the space outside. Sometimes I see cats or people in the corner of my eye or at a quick glimpse at a reflective surface.
If you really want to get spooked by hallucinations, try taking 5-htp before bed, it will have things grabbing you, or touching you in the middle of the night.

Sounds schizoish, I tried abilify and it worked perfectly for me for about a month, then the voices started again and ended up in the psych ward.

I don't fuck with any substances anymore, they always put me into psychosis.

But one time I stayed up for three days taking adderall and on the third day of being awake I started hearing little children singing ring around the rosie and them pulling at my shirt, pulling me down, it was really fucked

I'm familiar with this analogy and there are many cases that seem to affirm this theory. people getting brain damage and then having an altered personality etc. but there are also cases I've heard about in the mysterious universe podcast, where some people, who are in the hospital, close to death, revitalize a last time and fully seem to heal. so much so, that they don't seem to be ill or sick at all anymore. only to then die soon afterwards. their brain has been looked at by the doctors afterwards and they noticed the brain has been completely mush for quite some time, even during the time the person seemingly came back to health for a short time.

that is reason to think, that the brain is not the receiver and it doesn't have anything to do with being an interface for consciousness. unfortunately I don't remember the podcast episode or the names that were provided. so I can't confirm that brain-tool-theory.

it's a question of hardware vs software. if it's really physical then I can understand, that mental illness isn't paranormal. but if it's a software thing, then I consider it paranormal.
