i think i get astral projection. i've looked around online for a straight answer, but i haven't found it, so i came up with my own.

when you "astrally project", you're not going to some magical invisible dimension/realm/reality/whatever. you're just bringing yourself into a state of consciousness where you're not quite awake and not quite asleep. so you're gonna see shit that isn't there.

Your ability to connect with someone is dependent on your ability to "guess them correctly enough". Imagine it like this:

You make a mimic of someone in your head. This replica is based off a real person, and if you're like most people, you base their characteristics off of the real person they are mimicking (or at least, you try to, if you're being honest and not hateful/egotistical). Up until a point, this is all in-house, in you - only in your mind. Until - ding. Your copy is not accurate enough to the real thing that the mimic itself now acts as a point of connection for the REAL PERSON to speak with you.

That is how telepathy works. Don't try to exploit it, though. I shouldn't need to tell you what will happen the moment that you do.

I wasn't aware I was astrally projecting. Matter of fact I don't think I am, sounds like a misnomer. I think in a certain state of mind, of trying to focus on nothing, divine influence is more obvious.
