Why would a third of the angels (immortal, exalted beings) side with Satan unless something in his argument held validity or resonance? One third is no small minority. These beings also have firsthand knowledge of God and have sat in his presence, they know God more than any mortal human on Earth ever has. They are not subject to human ignorance, deception, or weakness through original sin.

Furthermore, if Heaven is a state of perfection, how can dissatisfaction or resistance even emerge within it?

The logic is this
1.God demands exclusive worship
2.God creates something in his own Image
Then God demands the angrls to bow to this created image.
Yes God can make some contradictory commands.
So some [one third] of the skyfags thought the priority was rule 1.
The rest obeyed thr more recent command rule 2.
The error of the one third angels was not to ask orientation of God on how to act, and follow their own interpretation of what God wants, again and emphasizing: without ask for divine orientation.
Lots of eras after, God creates the Son, so that retards skyfaggots can worship the Image and God at the same time, in the same person, not breaking any rule, they just need to repent and ask for forgiveness.

Everything was perfect in heaven. When creation was made, some beings saw it and desired to possess it and rule over it, rather than to serve it.
War in heaven was basically a landgrab over who gets to rule 'hell', which is all physical planes of existence.

God first gives to all beings a condition of existence where his wisom is of "easy acess". He gradually changes this condition, and as God's wisdom becomes harder to access, these beings start developing a wisdom of their own. Some of these beings develop into a false path and fall. They can no longer perceive higher wisdom or reach heaven, it's not a matter of choice. All beings will eventually find the right path.

Perfection is eternal, unchanging, and boring. No growth is possible if something is perfect. There was an episode of ST:TNG that showed the place the "Q" people come from was like an old run down boring town. You can't have change if it's already perfect. Perfection sounds stale and boring to me.

I've read different opinions on The Fall of the angels and I wonder if Satan or whatever offered them freedom. Supposedly if you dig into angel lore, God has got those things on lock down and they have very little free will if any at all; nothing like what humans have. If something came along and offered freedom, maybe some of the angels wanted it?
