Have you read any of his works? I would say his understanding of theological cosmology was that God and Satan comprised different aspects of the same force, not that he rejected God. Of course I have only read excerpts of his works so if you have any quotes of his that indicate otherwise please feel free to share however from what I know Crowley's outlook was more pantheistic than Satanist. I would say one of the key differences between Thelema and Satanism is that Satanism has a theme of self reliance and "skepticism" of others so as to guard one's self sovriegnty and independence. Thelema unless I'm wrong preaches the doctrine of liberation through agape or love and is more communal based than the independent nature of Satanism.
