Humor me and assume that my story is real, not a hallucination. What would the implications of this story being real mean?

Or is Catholicism incorrect and its okay to be an androgynous man like Bowie?

Don't just consider what it means for me personally, but consider what this would imply about reality/God/the afterlife as well.

No it's not. You are either how God made you, or you're tainted by environmental pollutants through no real fault of your own.
There's a difference between being X, and embracing X.

If you're higher pitched now, then whatever. As long as you don't start wearing dresses and telling kids about how your penis is actually an inside out vagina then you're fine.
You should get your wife looked at though / talk to her about it. Either she was possessed by something, or you were hallucinating and neither of those are good.

This is my own unfounded theory, but here it goes.
There are ways for your brain to develop that becomes more receptive to expecting a different genital function than what you currently have and thats what makes an actual person be dysphoric and trans.
The whole debacle of the inner masculine and feminine is nonsense. Actions and behaviors are not all that gendered, just a propensity which is different. Its just that people have been conditioned to enforce a strict division of behaviors that creates this chaos and confusion of the mind if you dont fulfill it.
Would you mindbreak yourself if you saw a girl dog lifting her leg to pee or try to hump other dogs? Ive seen this both and I just chalk it up to basically being right or left handed.
But with humans there is an added layer of the metaphysical and spirit that give even more weight to the possibility of transgenderism and mismatch between the past memories of the consciousness and its vessels.

Unfortunately, hard science wont touch the talks about souls and consciousness *yet*.

And the worst part is that places here will chalk it up to demonic possessions and evils and how, ironically, sex is only determined by biology.
