I find Norse mythology very fascinating and wanna learn more about it. I'd like to praise Odin the proper way, and learn more about using runes to gain wisdom and power and such.

The Asatru groups are larpers and muddy the old ways. The Æsir are gods of the Aryan and are a reverence to the apotheosis gained by their ancestors from the last cycle of seasons of the world tree. The Vanir are Atlantean and are Gaelic-Celtic and had acheived apotheosis as well. The unification of both is the alliance of Northern European ancestry, along with a reverence to the forces of nature of the Jotnär (sometimes aiding sometimes fought against). To understand the mysteries of the eddas you must walk the path of the Einherjar, to understand the frequency and vibration of our plane and follow the roads walked by the Gods who are our ancestors. The legends have morals and deeper meanings to be gleaned by observation and disection and seiðr works when used by women who don't direct the frequency of the runes to a particular patron but toward the force of intention and assumption that flows through our plane. Follow the nine virtues of courage, truth, honour, loyalty, discipline, self-reliance, perseverance, and industrioussness and apply them to your daily life and routine, and respect the unseen around you. Don't buy into any dogma or false representations of the Gods or the folk. I wish you luck and many personal revelations.

The Hindu story is the same as the Norse one, the Greek/Egyptian, and the Epic of Gilgamesh.
Zoroaster got it right more accurately than any of them.
Zechariah Sitchin wrote several books about this story and how its all connected.

The Gods live in you and the ordered chaos of nature does as well. As is said in the poem of the three brothers breathing life into man and woman: Odin breathes the ørlög or wyrd and animus, Loðurr (Loki of Jotnär) the gift of speech and hearing and sight, and Hœnir (Njord of Vanir) the breath of life. Without all three we are nothing, as without our ancestors we would not be here. Within us is the gifts of destiny and it is up to us to use them to walk our paths toward apotheosis to be as them and opose evil and tyrannical domination.

which is your favorite rune if i may ask? and how could we use them as Odin did? The one I've been looking into is Mannaz, or "man". Also known as just "M" really. It appears to be, from what I researched, really useful for people who struggle socially and suffer from anxiety like me. It helps man be more social and brave, if I'm correct

I personally have no favourite rune, that may seem like a cop out answer but it is the truth of the matter. Each has its own special place, even the lack of a rune in silence. You are using the rune of mannaz properly, meditate on it's lines as you form it, let it synchronize with your body's rhythm. Each rune must be used by men in such a way, for seiðr is fickle and does not want to be ordered but asked, not directed but listened to. Patience and understanding is the lesson of runes, insight towards the heart beat of our realm and our purpose within it. We have the blessing and curse of consciousness and it is our want to understand it and overcome our shortcomings. You are in the steps of your forebears and they walk with you on this path, because you are them, the runes will help you be them and help your children be you. You said you aren't "fully" white which implies you do have at least some European ancestry, so I'd say yes

Gods aren't as racially exclusive as people think, either, so even if you weren't white at all they would probably still be willing to work with you as long as you were respectful

I did not touch on prayer in my previous posts, but the attention of the Gods should only be aspired to when your great works are at hand. They are not there to be pestered with requests when the strength is within you, so calling upon them should be to show them something to be proud of. A success in your endeavors, a pregnancy, your approaching victory or impending death. To show your failures as well to not hide them from them, but to show your attempt and your stubbornness to try harder and willingness to learn from what went wrong. Directed intention should be towards our realm of existence and the latent energy therein, the runes as stated earlier anchor those intentions but are not necessary for low-vibration intentions. Simply being aware of the power of sunshine and moonlight on your skin, the feeling of the dirt at your feet or the water running around you, the electricity of a storm and in the dance of aurora. Ground yourself in the realm and do glorious and virtuous deeds, then bring their attention to you so they can be proud parents or supportive elders.

Brother all the "gods" of all the world's religions are demons or fallen angels . The only true God is the triune God . The Father , the Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit . Seek the truth and you shall find it . But when the enemy comes with terror and despair call on Jesus Christ and he will save you no matter the odds just believe him he can do it nothing is impossible for God and repent .
