Yes, they are prejudiced. Yes, I do see it in the comments. People different do exist from you, and it's part of the world. There's other races, other gender identities, nationalities, religions, and political opinions. What I see with conservatives is they want to go back to an older time and remain more closed off to the world they see liberals as generally accelerating a societal collapse through their tendency toward social change. They value conserving existing order for stability. Liberals do not cling to an old order, as they see aspects of it as unjust. They embrace change as naturally good and as an improvement to the older order that they see as antiquated.and a hindrance to the progress of civilization. One does not like change, because change can lead to uncertainty and destabilization. The other embraces changes more, because they see it as counter stagnation. I'm speaking of both worldviews in the most general and non-judgmental of terms.

There are two basic core assumptions between liberals and conservatives. The fact is there are different people, and this also includes difference of political opinions. Liberals and conservatives often describe the adverse opinion in the most exaggerated or extremes of examples, be it Antifa or radical communists from the right or neonazis white supremacists from the left The reality is most everyday liberals and conservatives have much more moderate views. To find consensus in this world, we have to stop caricaturing the other side and try to understand opposition opinions. This demand dialogue and willingness to listen from both ends
