What is behind the phenomenon of all brand logos defaulting to a less appealing look? Nobody prefers this yet this has been happening for years now. Do archons simply want us pushed to the brink of demoralization?

I would attribute it to the "war on beauty and virtue" but the old Cracker Barrel design is hardly a work of art on the level of a gothic cathedral lol

as someone who has worked in logo design.
It's just greed and costcutting.
Companies want a logo that is easy to print on things. The less detail and colors a logo has, the easier it is to plaster on things.
Also just trying to be trendy by follow what other successful companies are doing. It's all a giant circlejerk that graphic designers thinks has a big impact, but doesn't really besides making things look slightly more lame.

It's not anything x related.

Executive make millions and millions of dollars but don't do a fucking thing. They feel the need to justify themselves so they try to change things that don't need changing. They're also genuinely unskilled with terrible ideas. They make things simpler because it's "trendy" and less likely to have them canceled in the future. Turn the company to shit because they feel the need to put in their "mark" instead of just letting the functional company continue to function

I think the reason is a bit more mundane. Most of these brand makeovers have less to do with wokeness or demons or any political or spiritual thing than they do making the logo more visible from a distance and cheaper and easier to print and put on advertisements. They lose their charm and sometimes it's not quite so successful or even comes out weird (look at the logos of Kia and Peugeot), but there is nothing spiritual political going on here.

Sadly, it works.
Pringles got a lot of attention for the logo change, people that used to eat it remembered they existed and bought them again, the things you don't buy fade into the background and you don't even see them anymore when you go shopping, when they change, they pop back up into your existence.
All of this increases sales.
And the worse the new logo, the bigger the backlash, the higher the attention, it's like free advertisement because instead of buying it you let people say "how much your new logo sucks!"
Companies see these graph and follow suit.

There is a desire to not be controversial, which ironically, is controversial because a subset of people hate change and perceive it as an attack on their history/culture.

Hard times (economically and socially) usually lead to introversion, minimalism, simple designs with sans serif fonts, drab colours. Everyone driving a white or black car etc. and grey/blue/white T-shirts.

Good times when everything is booming often has colourful clothing and cars, fancy elaborate designs, serif fonts, etc.

>Late-stage Capitalism
Actually this is late stage fascism. All these companies work in unison via a political ideology, lock step with the state, to control narrative and public perceptions.

Thats what fascism is...when civil, military, media, political, branches (of the fasces) are indistinguishable. Only problem is there are two ways of creating a "bundle of sticks". One is by consent, they all joined willingly (Demo-cracy) or they were seized in a hostile, capitalistic, takeover (Tyranny). Considering the people voted against it...the side you thought you joined wasnt "the will of the people", it was capitalism's attempt to quell a proletariot revolution.

You sided with the billionaires...you sided against the People's Republic.

It's the gradual separation of the wheat from the chaff. These companies – the secular, corporate world in general – use the divine attribute of beauty to make people feel good about their brand, about the world in general, as if divinity is found the construction of society. It makes humans subconsciously trust them as if they are a part of the divine plan. So the intercosmic divine forces are subconsciously influencing decision makers to make society and its brands as bland as possible, without the attribute of divine beauty which inspires the heart. Then gradually it will be very clear that society is not divine, quite the contrary. That which is positive and truthful and that which is negative and full of falsehood will separate from each and other and will be extremely clear for all to see, without grey zones, without mixing. The true Kingdom of God is not of this world, not of society.

Fascism and Communism are both very bad. I dislike then both, and I will never trust them. I believe in peace, happiness, and freedom, and neither of those political ideologies represent those fundamental virtues at all. They're both tyrannical in nature, so say no to tyranny, and say yes to freedom. And say yes to sunlight too, it's good for you. Just don't sun burn of course, thanks.

Their freedom is to oppress...dont worship an ideal you play with in your head, others see it as a means to an end.

Freedom means legal. Legalized baby murder. Legalized crime. Legalized racial oppression. Allll of that is "freedom".
