Christians believe people get one life and nothing comes before it and no earthly life comes after their first. They don't believe in reincarnation
How do Christians explain why some people are born into poverty and some are born into wealth? Some are born into uncontacted tribes people and some are born to Christian parents
Animals also seem conscious and there's far more animals in the wild then humans and most wild animals seem to live bad lives.

How do Christians explain this unfairness? At least with Hinduism they have the excuse of people having done good or bad things in past lives

Catholics-Protestants don't think about it. One has to understand that the Catholic church has completely co opted western spirituality since 1000 years ago and removed all scriptures that made reference to spiritual realms or non-materialistic spiritual teachings. Why did they do that? To keep men ignorant and materialistic, of course.

Hinduism isn't that better either. When the Buddha started teaching he had countless debates with brahmans (the hindu priestly caste) - which were spiritually dead, ritualistic and dogmatic, much like protestants. There was no enlightenment in Hinduism back then and there is no enlightenment there today. Study the holy books but don't join the religions. Like the Buddha said, be an island unto yourself.

I don't believe in reincarnation per se, but my schizo theory is that there are a multitude of parallel realities existing side-by-side. Events that take place across many, many of these threads create a kind of gravitation that increases the likelihood of them happening in other realities as well. But it's no guarantee and sometimes small deviations or noise/signal prevent them from happening or drastically alter the way they play out or the consequences of them. I think this especially true for people, who may share a single "soul" in some sense of the word across manifold realities, which might explain why some people seem inexplicably drawn to one another without any obvious explanation why. These parallel realities have a tendency to collapse in toward each other, merge and diverge over time (though the word "time" is hard to pin down in this context). As the end of big-T "Time" approaches, all of the threads will wind around one another and converge toward a single destination (the return of Christ as an example though who really knows?).

When John the baptist was decapitated Christ told some people who asked Him if He was the prophet Elias that, Elias has already come and people did what they did. And when Zachariah was it? Was visited by the angel Gabriel and announced that his son would be born with the "spirit and strenght of Elias". People even the apostles asked Christ if He was this or that prophet, are you Elias? Are you Moses?
So, why would they ask these questions if they didnt believe someone could be born again amongst us?
A bit more. When the pharisees sent the saducees to debate with Christ, He simply defeated them by turning their question on them. They asked, if a woman married five or seven husbands in this life, then in the next who is she gonna be married to? Christ only told them i thought you didnt believe in next lives

Imo, there are multiple lives, but they are all the same incarnation. When I visit other states of being, its always been myself incarnating into that place. It isn't a reincarnation, or a redo of something, its part of the same life I am living today.
I'm christian, despite all these things. The reason I am christian, is because I believe Christ is the true representation of how God intends us to use our power. He didn't conquer the world, he didn't kill the people who wanted to kill him, he didn't make himself rich. He had all the power to do any of these things, but instead, he used his power to heal, to teach, to serve, and to be an example for us all.
In the other religions, the gods are powerful, but they do both good and evil alike, according to their nature. Jesus taught to rise above the nature of sin, and to follow a pathway of eternal grace within Gods love.

Reincarnation is a soul trap. Usually people of lower spirituality stay within the physical world since they can't transcend it. Therefore you are trapped in the matrix, living a cycle of lives that you may or may not grow spurituality from. It coincides with he loosh farm theory, reincarnation is a vehicle for it for souls to be processed and reprocessed again and again. Everything else thought in reincarnation is false, you don't get to pick your next life and you don't reinarnate into a better or worse life based on karma. This is a false, cope teaching.

Now let's move to Christianity. The main teaching of Christinity is not 'be good, and you'll be rewarded', the teaching is 'follow Christ and transcend'. Transcendence is about breaking through the matrix, by making yourself into something separable from the physical therefore you transcend and don't get reprocessed. Now you may be asking, then the Christian God must be evil for setting up the system. No. See this as a farmer taking care of cattle, most cattle are processed because they are well.. cattle. Those that transcend however end up being more than that. A good exmple of this is the robot Wall-e, he transcended his purpose and became something worth more.
