Ocarina of Time was my favorite game. When I felt hungry at night because we had no food or sad from a turbulent childhood (my aunt unironically worked for Nintendo and that's why I had a N64/games) I'd imagine being link locked away in the gerudo prison and that gave me some weird sense of comfort, because later during the day I could hookshot to freedom.

Your hair would still have much more of an orange pigment than links does even with sun lightening. Which is beyond the obvious point that any orangeness in links hair in the game was due to shading and if they intended to make him red headed or "from gerudo valley" as claimed (they didn't), he would have a shade similar to the red heads in the game.
