When I was a teenager I was eating at a friend's, I cut the bread with a knife and put it back upside down on the table, which made his superstitious dad literally jump on the bread to break it and put it back correctly on the table. I didn't even knew about these weird superstitions about the bread, my parents told me that these were old christian superstitions.
