Im actually enjoying this show. Ep 5 was the coolest so far. The way the ship was being so casually sabotaged still gets me

Malevolent lie #6143546
You can’t instantly tell if you like somebody accurately 99% of the time. A persons essence is bursting from the face, eyes, general appearance, aura, the way they carry themselves. And your detection is more sophisticated than some crude apprehension that might be thrown off if some is having a particularly good or bad day, or some temporal emotional interference. No, you can actually ascertain the deep essence of people instantly and decide (but it really isn’t even a decision, more of a reflexive categorization) whether you like them or not.
Something as true and simple as this has been utterly defamed and dragged through the mud, what a disgrace

I want to learn glass blowing.
I think it would be really neat to attempt to make exquisite vases, bowls, etc in the style of Tiffany Co as inspiration.
I think I’ll look for classes in my area this winter

I should have started doing this years ago

I live out in the middle of nowhere and my local pizza place (only restaurant/bar for several miles) is legitmately some of the best pizza I've ever had. It's not fancy pizza, but it's good pizza, it hits the spot. It's like my own little personal heaven

Is anyone else lately experiencing small moments where it feels like the atmosphere of the world is how it was 20 years ago?
It’s unmistakable when it happens because it’s such a different feeling than the grim dissatisfaction that characterizes the world today.
It’s weird when it happens and I can’t figure out what’s causing it. I wonder if it’s just me being relaxed and absent minded for a moment and somehow reverting to a feeling I experienced long ago, or if there’s actually something changing. It’s grim as fuck out there now but I can’t shake a small feeling in the back of my mind that it’s somehow all smoke and mirrors and that this bad dream will end if you can just make it through it without losing your soul and mind

Anybody else realized over the past few years that you’re just running similar thought loops over and over but they can’t resolve themselves because there’s some kind of spiritual firewall on the planet?
As in you’re bound by certain limitations of your mortal coil on this plane. That except for the tinkering powerful people who mix metaphorical potions by wielding institutions (and their commensurate collective energy of human attention and intention, essentially the raw materials for alchemy) like sorcerers they experiment of this plane and try to guide it towards their will?
Not that we’re totally powerless, the opposite in fact, just simply bound by this point in time and that’s on purpose by design.
I’m ready to see what’s next but it’s divergent from the anti spiritual sovereignty paradigm that we seem to be getting guided into. Is it really just going to be dancing on the precipice while we’re attritioned away to nothing for the rest of our lifetimes?
Seems kind of boring

I was a workplace lunch thief for a really long time, I was never caught. I would take stuff a couple times per week, it took a while but signs started being posted in the kitchen, nice at first something like "please make sure to check you don't accidentally take somebody's food! :)" to months later open threats against the thief "stealing lunches will be reported to HR, employees may face termination". LOL. Eventually there was a company wide meeting and some VP got up and said they were gonna find the person responsible and hold them accountable.
The only reason I stopped is because I got a new job
