1. You need to remind yourself constantly that your thoughts are not part of you - they are with you. When you feel angry, anger is with you. When you feel sad, sadness if with you.

2. Work on recognizing lifetraps but do not fall into the trap of blaming others for your problems.

3. Discipline, mothafuka. Every single day, sickness or in health, make sure you fulfil your daily obligations. A good daily balance is to work out , read for pleasure, meditate (box breathing is ezpz), and meet a stranger.

4. Are you serving your purpose? If not, then quit your job and do what is necessary to go after what it is you want. If you don't know what it is, meditate on that first.

5. Be kind to yourself. Until you learn to love yourself, you cannot neither accept the love of others nor give it to others.

Helps to have something to do for as sense of accomplishment, especially if you do not have a job (which gives a false and harmful sense of achievement and identity). For instance, I do daily Japanese lessons, review articles for random journals, study tantra, practice tango, planning to take up sailing/surfing.

Travel is nice but is neither an escape nor a cure.

In terms of things to abstain from, I recommend trying a vegan diet, abstinence from masturbation and fornication, avoiding news and social media, not smoking, drinking, or doing drugs (whether prescribed or otherwise). I have been engaged with Tarot for a long time and want your opinion. I am looking to start a project where I essentially create a Tarot deck of myself by having candid photos taken of me in various situations. Essentially surround myself with the appropriate icons and either ask someone to take a picture or I get a selfie. To an uninitiated observer it would just look like a picture of me. To the initiated, they would recognize this an occult work. Some concepts

The Tarot is a story, and the cards are used to divine the future, or give insight on the present. My thinking is I could leverage these images to essentially manifest a story of my own authoring. But you are right, it may be best to keep these hidden or secret, lest an adversary abuse them.

I think you should rest your mind, and despite not actively doing occult reads, I believe you have some entity attached to you that may be triggering those negative thoughts. Voices are saying to take a shower and let the water wash away those bad thoughts, like imagine a gold light coming out of the shower whilst you're under it and as it washes your body, it cleans any negativity that may be lingering there, see them going down the drain and imagining this golden light giving you peace, strength, calm and filling up the places where some darkness used to reside... Completely understood on ignoring the first query.

The path is still hypothetical, and I don't have anything well thought out, but I feel a pull of some kind.
I quite honestly have no clue how to move forward. Last year I was robbed of significant sums of money, and it has been a bit of a spiral or domino effect since, and I'm trying to file for bankruptcy. The year prior I had an incident that made me lose one of my work facilities, which had been a long-term dream of mine. I tried incredibly hard to turn it around, and remain positive. I'd be lying if I said I weren't upset about it, the money part at least. It was the most money I had ever been able to save, and finally had an emergency fund and a sense of security after growing up in extreme poverty. The money is likely to not return to me, unfortunately.
I have felt conflicted in my career, as over time I strayed from my morals and values in favor of financial gain. My career is in horticulture. Lately I have been grossed out by the rise in consumerism, and I don't enjoy feeding that beast. I want to be more purposeful somehow.
