This is another TI thread, meant to be a companion to the gangstalking one that is regularly posted. We talk a lot about the gangstalking. While the gangstalking does happen and worth discussing, I rarely see the gaslighting / psychological warfare aspects of the phenomenon brought up. Yet when it is, a lot of people find it interesting. So, ITT we discuss the gaslighting aspect of the TI phenomenon's experience.

Gangstalking is definitely unnerving or even dangerous, but it's this stuff that leaves the lasting damage, the reason why you slowly became more paranoid about *everything*, why you may be questioning your own intuition or self-agency, or any other aspect of your being that can be manipulated.

There is a lot of overlap with this phenomena and mental disorders as this phenomena tends to be so corrosive to one's wellbeing that disorders very easily begin to appearing after a few years, as it feeds into every paranoid wondering and pang of anxiety while simultaneously distracting and suppressing your awareness of alternate explanations, exploiting gaps in your perceptions or any evidence to the contrary to their narratives. The purpose of all this is to keep you distracted from the details of your life, so your relationships rot, your health rots, your mental wellness rots, everything rots so slowly it's hard to even notice. Especially with them keeping you wrapped up in the petty circular arguments they love to incite.

Please share what you've learned, or discuss whatever it is they're doing at the current moment. If anything, this could be used to vent, lol. Lord knows it helps.

Gonna start this off by posting some long-winded thoughts, some text dumps and resources, and some explanations of things that more and more people are realizing about this phenomenon.

We don't know many specifics or have hard evidence beyond some audio recordings of these disembodied voices we all experience, so take this all with a heap of salt. Look to compare these experiences up against your own, see if anything stands out as eerily similar.

While they go out of their way to obfuscate every detail about themselves, observing how they behave for long enough nets some very interesting patterns, patterns that seem a near constant across every TI i've come across online and talked to. While one might believe it's supernatural and another thinks it's alien ghosts, they all agree that gaslighting is happening for one reason or another, and that is both incredibly hard to circumvent and ignore, and incredibly eroding at times.

Once we accept that this isn't some incorporeal being who is far from any possibility of harm, and instead humans doing things to a lot more humans using human technology, for all too human reasons.

There's a reason they so strongly imply and posture themselves as omniscient, omnipotent, etc., constantly, incessantly from every angle. It's the same reason that many TIs at the start are convinced they have a mental disorder as explanation for the disembodied voices, which sets them up discrediting labelling, dismissal, and generally bad times in the future. To achieve their goals, they must lie and misdirect, misinform, and send you barking up the wrong trees, so you never truly learn what this thing actually is.

This thing, what ever it is ultimately for, who ever is perpetrating it, hinges solely on plausible deniability absolute. Who is going to believe someone that says they are hearing voices, that nobody else can hear, saying the craziest things to that person? The obvious answer is mental illness, as far as the average person is concerned. This is coming from a place of having been there myself, but managed to figure out how things would play out and realized this was a phenomenon that is purely external to our bodies, and adjusted in time.

This thing gets a lot of its work done by imitating the symptomology and personal experiences of having a mental disorder, but that doesn't mean mental disorders don't exist. It is such an unnecessarily enormous leap to jump to aliens when we can do this stuff right now.

Honestly, I would have rather it be schizophrenia, because then medication and therapy would mean it would get better to at least a manageable level eventually. This thing will fake you out, pretending to recede bit by bit as you start taking the medication, and come back in full force if you stop taking them. But if you confront them on this, mentally, they drop the act pretty quickly. I dunno about you but psychosomata could never be as reactive and intentful as that, nor have I ever heard of schizophrenia as having consistent, long-term goals that manifest in the way it speaks, the things it criticizes and with what word choice, etc etc.

Also, this whole historical context of the voices phenomenon is such a red herring. It's almost perfectly tailored to cut apart any technological explanation of the phenomenon because how could it be our modern tech when some folks in the 1700's experienced it? Our eyes glaze over at the surface-level sense that makes, like it sounds like something cogent and true-true would sound like, but look an inch deeper and you realize it's doing nothing but distracting the discussion, intentionally or incidental. I really want to know why so many people don't want to believe that we're not only capable of doing this to ourselves (top-secret big-pants-wearing humans doing it to us proles). Humans are paranoid by nature, and rich humans are exponentially more. You get enough rich paranoid fucks together all thinking that the world would be a lot simpler and easier to manage if they could monitor everything, everywhere, all at once. They cobble together the unholy union of a dozen technologies, some of which border on fringe, and out of that comes some apparatus that uses a LLM to generate speech, some kind of transmitter to send that our way, and one of several proven methods of reading changes in our brain's electrical field without electrodes and at distance to see the response. No part of this requires fantastical thinking, let alone aliens or demons, to explain.

Don't boil it down to "just humans", there's nothing simple or reductive about it. If i'm right, and i'm far from alone in this, and it is some organization of especially paranoid humans causing this phenomenon to occur in modern day, then it simultaneously becomes a million times more complicated to uncover than "oh it's just ghost aliens". But also, kind of empowering? They have human motivations. You can understand their mind, hinted at through their actions and the words they speak.

Also just to add, this phenomenon exhibits behaviors that seem to try to preserve plausible deniability at all costs. But also, kinda same. I've been using this past year to gather up as much info about this thing as I can, filtering through and keeping what's possibly true or otherwise useful / helpful to the situation, and posting it in as many places as is appropriate. It started as a means of getting back at them.

If you want to have some small victories in the short term, I highly recommend it, or at very least journaling. As in writing down what they say and do to you in a given day, what narratives they pushed, whether it seemed like they were trying to distract versus trying to gaslight or convince you of something. Over time, patterns do emerge. Though they are frighteningly convincing in the moment-to-moment minutia of daily life, over a long enough time, they are super inconsistent. They try to mask this with sheer volume, always trying to drown you in the murk.

It's hard to find places where we can talk about this stuff. Quora is a literal loony bin. Reddit has its diamonds but a lot of it is just noise. I know a bunch of groups of people think we're wacko, but it's something.

It's not an entirely unfounded dislike of reddit's community, but having spent time in both, I can see why both don't like each other. I just use whichever one seems most-best at a point in time. I've always loved the /x/ board, even while growing up, such as with the original SCP threads, so that's a bit of a bonus to nudge me towards being here.

I will say though that if we're gonna make any kind of difference regarding this phenomenon, we're not gonna be able to do jack shit as dozens of small, siloed communities that barely interact with each other. Not talking organizing and protesting, but just simple stuff like figuring out for sure what is causing this and how it's being done. Or simpler, just how to differentiate the experience of being a TI from having any of the mental disorders it was designed to imitate, so we can foster some level of credibility.

my opinion is this IS what schizophrenia is. I tried explaining to my psychologist/psychiatrist all the evidence I had about it being inflicted on us by an external source, and they were mind controlled out of understanding what I was telling them, I shit you not. I do not believe this is being done to us by humans. Either way though, it's definitely an AI system.
