I'm visiting here, I used to be here a lot but I just want to say some things. Look at the catalog and realize how many of the images are ugly, disturbing, confusing.
None of that is God or Wisdom. That's our disturbed minds and fear.
I'm hyper aware of my visual memory and visual imagination, but I think it affects everyone. All this stuff your looking at on the internet is burning into your mind and affecting the very way you think and can think. It's remapping your brain.
Make sure you spend a lot of time, most of time, pursuing beautiful things. Visually and and in other ways.
And I find this actually makes me stronger and more resilient in life, despite also being more sensitive to ugly things.
I worded it preachily but it's my earnest belief.

It's not JUST beauty, but the same thing beauty is made from.
I would say pursue harmony in all things. It is the "weapon" to be used against the priests of discord that corrupted this world so many thousands of years ago and live on through the western MIC.

But it's true about evil being able to appear beautiful. But I think of heaven as when appearances and reality come back together, so our instincts aren't leading us the wrong way anymore. There's a quote ; "Dont accept anything as love which lacks truth, or anything as truth which lacks love."
Love is basically our material passions and instincts wrapped up. We do have to be wary of it, but it's also the point of life

Ascetism and Christianity are similar but it's important that you're only are asked to suffer out of love for something or someone. Like a father sacrificing his free time or health for his children, or a patriot on a battlefield.
It gives life it's meaning. You need something you're willing to live and die for, if need be, for love. I think if you're doing that you already have the truth of Jesus.

OP is right. Look at beauty all day and your dreams will be beautiful too. Someday AI will make an endless stream of beautiful women just walking around and smiling, nothing pornographic or sexual at all, and I will watch that for hours to soak in those beautiful faces and have dreams of beautiful women.

Why are we drawn to beautiful faces? It serves no evolutionary purpose, as beautiful faces are not necessarily associated with health; many ugly people are perfectly healthy. I think it's because angels in heaven are the perfection of beauty, and we desire beautiful human faces because we desire angels.
