Moksha (liberation), is a concept, a thought in your head, an idea, a thing. The reason you even think about it, because you REJECT the world you currently see, you JUDGE it "shit" (undesirable), and you want something else, something more. Scripture, to me, is mostly psychological drama - a guide to faith, which is mostly the elimination of fear. It struck me while reading the OT. I found myself getting frustrated by the Jews' stupidity, betraying God again and again, suffering the consequences, then begging for mercy every single time after doing fine for decades. On and on it went. Then it hit me: Fuck me, this is me. This is my own struggle with bad habits and addictions. Just like they betrayed God after a long streak, I kept betraying myself after long "clean" stretches, just to forgive myself and start over. It is not the same. One lasts only as long as the drug’s influence. The other becomes your natural state, with practice(!) and awareness. You are forming a new habit of being. We are all conscious, we are all codependent but each of us is disticnt. Why? Because I do not remember anything before being born. I do not even remember being born at all. So there is no way I am an independent being since there is a reactive world that is able to surprise me (even when I downed all those truffles there were certain things able to surprise me, even if my intuition was over 2000 and I was able to predict most things) So, my man, good news are: We are all in this together. If you are feelign void and like nothing has meaning right now (this happened to me) Is because you just became aware of your self. Not in an intelectual way, you REALLY became aware of your self, the center of your being observing the experience of your life, I mean. And I got some pretty fucking crazy vertigo out of it and felt void for months. So my two pennies on this: Help others. Be as compassionate as you can.

The more good and helpfull you are with those that suffer more, the more meaning you will be able to take hold of and things will stabilize.
