NTA but honestly that is a good idea. Think about it, if banned in the west (USA) the streaming services wouldn't be as lucrative for japanese producers, so less shows overall, which means that only the ones that are good (or perceived to be good) would be made as there wouldn't be a fall back buyer of the really crappy stuff.

With less streaming services carriying anime, the masses would move on to another medium for entertainment (Korean shows probably) and Anime would return to its niche status; which would mean less influence from western wokies.

Unironicaly, Baning Anime in the west looks like the only way to save the medium from its deterioration.
