>They don't.
Isn't this just your opinion? Objectively, they don't animate challenging or intricate designs are the shows are cheap, low production value.
>A lot of anime only gets produced because of outsourcing to subcontracted studios that can only produce things at bare minimum quality.
And yet it's still above studio trigger. Trigger are like those western calarts producing studios.
>A lot of time they can barely stay on model
Brave coming from someone simping for trigger. Their shows are full of off model QUALITY. That's the thing, Triggershit goes off model a lot so they don't have to work to keep it on model like with mechanical animation. Franxx mechs were not so rigid which was by design and that's fine, but it doesn't demonstrate a capability. They couldn't animate mechs in the SSSS series and very heavily relied on 3DCG. There was some nice work by Gen Asano, but most of that show was 3DCG.
>You are ignoring so many factors that led to these things even being possible to produce. They are anomalies that only existed because Japan's 80s bubble economy.
There are countless Japanese studios that do more detailed work than Trigger in the current day, it's not just Gainax in the 80s.
>Their work is objectively the opposite of lifeless, it's hard to find anime with more spunk than what they make.
Nah, don't talk past me. Lazy designs and corner cutting with 3DCG or fake sliding still meme animation doesn't demonstrate vigor. KLK is very guilty of this.
