Good character moments, fun concept, solid action, though I wish it was drawn out a little longer - really hard to do when you're trying to have a three segment episode, I know, but maybe that's why two segment episodes are the norm. Feel like you could have filled this episode out with a lot more kung fu tropes and gotten a solid extra three minutes. Also some of the references didn't land for me, but that's been the same way since day one. I remember not getting the Oasis reference at fucking ALL and feeling like a total philistine when I found out.

There's also a shit ton of references to celebrities I don't know, and a tasteful king kong bit - really interesting fucking ghost design, which makes it kind of a shame it doesn't do anything but exist as a plot mcguffin to have all four girls moaning in the same room together. Their weird fucked up stage versions got a legit gut laugh out of me

I have never watched a fast and furious movie, but I somehow got the references in my BONES. This was about five minutes of good solid action,, and managed to have the whole episode be a sex joke, without being overbearing. Panty and Stocking is at its best when its sex jokes are elaborate and tied into the core of the plot.

Despit entering the show with lots of good will as a Hopefag I have tosay, I'm quite disappointed. The first Episode of Season 2 was quite good, felt a bit different, but apart from the inferior Dub and weaker translations kept the overall Spirit of the series. I already forgot the first half of Episode 2 while I would consider the 2nd half mediocrely decent, at least enough to not be too forgettable and in comparison to all the Episodes of Season 1 I also wouldn't consider it the worst. Episode 3 tough, very big disappointment and I'm afraid the quality won't improve. The first half is the most cringeworthy thing of this series I have watched until now.

With season 2 it doesn't matter anyway, I'm currently watching the rest of Episode 3 on sub, because the English Script is too sanitised compared to Season 1 and lacks the Talent of the previous cast. But in Season 1 the Dub really felt better to me compared to the Sub.
