I pretty much agree with the rest of your list though. Moore is probably the best example of someone who could lights-out Rudy despite being veritably weaker as far as general abilities and powers are concerned.

The thing I like about MT, aside from better character writing than most series, is that most of the upper-echelon of the verse can still be killed by mid-echelon under certain circumstances. Orsted has major hax, as does Hitogami, but it's still possible to get one over either of them. You'll just have a hard time doing it since both have way more mileage than you'll ever have.

Just think about it like this, Paul and Zenith got out of their S-rank party who regularly ventured Labyrinths to raise their kid. They probably had some money from that, which would be a considerable amount. Paul still needed a regular job for steady cash, because he couldn't just risk himself daily anymore, hence being a knight. I believe Zenith herself did some odd jobs in the village as a healer, I could be misremembering. Despite this, Paul didn't have the cash to pay for Sylphie's tuition to Ranoa (they 100% would, at this point they pretty much treated Sylphie like their kid and Paul was friends with Sylphie's dad), they also couldn't afford to buy new clothes for their two new kids like they did with Rudeus, since both Aisha and Norn wore hand-me-downs pre TP incident. They also only had a couple of books in their house, and they were all very popular books, not like they had a bunch of useless story books or anything, they had practical stuff. This is assuming MT works exactly like the real life period, is there such indication? I could be forgetting. From what I remember, Paul mostly stayed at home because his job was protection of the village, and the village barely had any dangers, I vaguely remember Rudeus even calling Paul a glorified bodyguard, essentially. This doesn't align with the job of medieval knight, like you described, at least.

I made no major assumptions with my post, I guess the biggest one would be that their money comes mostly from a fortune amassed from their party, which I don't think it's that absurd of an assumption. There's also the other facts I mentioned regarding their financial status, which point to it not being "abundant wealth" or landowner tier. I think comparatively they were rich, but it'd be like taking a middle class family from a first world country, throwing it into a third world country and saying "see? They're super rich!". Most people from the world of MT were just outright miserable, scrapping by, or just somewhat poor, outside of major kingdoms. I'd imagine that if they lived in Asura they'd wouldn't be as comfortable financially as well. Anyway, that's my take on it.

How the hell will they introduce shit like Touki and Ariel's assassination in Season 3 without making it all seem like convenient, the biggest mistake for both S1 and S2 was the amount of important skipped content, All of the Episode 0 Fitz stuff should've been Season 1 content. The anime makes everything seem way to convenient and I feel like all those cut corners are gonna come to a head in Season 3. They missed so many opportunities to explain touki and show Ariel's ambush in S2 it's astonishing.

True about the MC, but I think MT's real forte is world building and emotional moments. Imho, the best Isekai Japan has ever produced are still Twelve Kingdoms, the original Digimon Adventure and Magical Knight Rayearth, but MT and Log Hirozon are right behind along with Dunbine and El Hazard OVAs. Rudeus does have one of the best harems ever though, mostly because it includes Eris. Honestly? He had assumed Eris was in love with him as well (and he was right) and had already resolved to spend the rest of his days with her. He was so serious about it that when Eris left he cried for days, and got so depressed that he developed ED. He went as far as to try date other girls as rebounds and even tried to sleep with a prostitute (that looked a lot like Eris including being a readhead) but he couldn't get it up.
