Very ambitious way to adapt this but it's basically impossible to pay attention to everything, not to mention most of the stories don't have any sound. Cool though. They managed to have sound for each of the little stories at the banquet and then to play the full thing at the end, which was cool too. Makes me wonder how they're going to do the race now since I don't think this method would work as well for that, plus doing it twice would ruin its uniqueness. But they'll still have to adapt that whole volume. Maybe since they did this storyline in one episode they can do the race in 2 or something.

I used to be a filthy streamer like you. I though that there was no difference. There absolutely is. You dont see it in screenshot quality, but you absolutely see it in bitrate. When things are moving really fast and when there is alot of stuff on the screen you will see pixels "tearing" as they move. It's most noticeable when it happens near the subs. Once you get past the hurdle of getting all the programs, downloading an episode takes a few clicks and a bit of typing for an all around better experience

And anything else they do doesn't have as much passion and experimentation put into it. They need to put the same amount of effort they do with Monogatari or Madoka into either another adaptation or another original.

Because they have a history of treating their animators properly and cultivating actual talent where new blood learns from old blood. They're able to pass on traditional techniques, which allows them to master them and easily handle more experimental or newer styles. To put it simply, they are extremely good at what they do because of the value they put on the people that do it. Idk too much about the industry, buy I've heard that kyoani animators are the best paid AND least overworked in all of the thousand folded lands. This makes it a KINOSOUL factory.

This CITY was founded on the kindness of one man, the original Tanabe. He had poor, ragged clothes, and the people in the VILLAGE were also poor and suffering. But he helped as many of them as he could, cheered them up. And in return, they loved him. So all the villagers came to help build up his house, and the VILLAGE grew, and he continued to help them. Even Buddha helped him when tragedy struck. Current day Tanabe has carried on that tradition. The more hospitality you give to others, the more the CITY will prosper.
