Anyways LOTGH anon, For somereason once i pushed through until the episode where i got spoiled of the death which, I was not expecting that much blood at all. That was a glorious death scene. the show became a lot more watchable. I've been really enjoying the back story of these two fucks >>282345851 but i can't help but see him as being super gay and super jealous that his friend got married to a woman. had to take a bunch of breaks because of covid headaches.
I wonder if i just needed a big dramatic moment to pull me back in and 1-14 was the combination of movie yang and ikeda voice kek keeping my interest solid. It feels like there is going to be a lot more political drama now that there is going to be a lot more vying for a no.2

As an adaptation is a total mess. The original show adapts the first manga but adds plot points and characters from the sequel making a total mess of the timeline. I don't even know if you can jump from the anime to the movies or there's a lot of content that was never adapted in the anime series. If you're planning on just watching the anime and not the movies it's ok, but otherwise read the manga.

Red are the turbo homo routes, blue are more neutral but still worth playing, purple is a mixed bag of hetslop and homo.

Top is the non spoiler version, bottom is the spoilery version with the actual choices.
- Multiple is psychological horror written by Kodaka, an absolute must read.
- Rebellion is the first route I enjoyed but not really a must read. Still really popular, particularly with Eitaku fanfic authors.
Goodbye is a good character focused route.
- 2nd scenario is the truth route written by Kodaka, the one route you absolutely have to play if any. Frankly, if the game was just the prologue and this route it would have been a 10/10 game.
- Cult. This is the one you have picked the game for. You just don't know it yet.
- Coming of age: shonen slop route

I personally love it but it takes some time to get REALLY good, and like I mentioned it's super straight. Rudy gets better but he's kind of insufferable in the first arcs, then he becomes endearing and kind of cute as family man. The world building and plot are super interesting later on, and the characters from later arcs are all amazing and fun to follow. I love how he's overpowered but just in his own thing (magic), the other characters shine and bring a lot to the table and Rudy isn't the "all-problem-solving" MC, the point is that if he doesn't make connections with people (which he avoided in his previous life due bullying and he was a naturally a scumbag), he will get fucked and lose everything he loves. I love it but would I recommend it for people expecting fujo experience? No. The random gay scenes happened and I wasn't really expecting it and it was a funny surprise. It's obvious though, it's just much easier to give your audience a custom experience in vidya. Take fire emblem Fates. For starters, no straight male is gonna raise a NilesxCorrin support. And even if the S support (marriage) somehow becomes availale to them amd they notice, all they have to do is not click on it, and Niles won't marry Corrin, and they won't see it. But if Fates were anime you would have to watch them kiss since it's a linear medium and part of the audience would probably end up dropping it.

I do think that some of what you're writing has some merit regarding majority of BL(so not fujobait) fujos moving onto other mediums like novels, manga, live-action, etc. which have a wider variety of series to enjoy.
