I don't think that was executed well because Asa's reaction to Yoru taking her body after she called herself a toxic woman wasn't shown. Yoru enjoying herself with Denji being lovey-dovey, Asa's not shown, Yoru gathering her army of devils, and being evil and Asa's not shown. She's already thrown into the alley meaning the consequence was shown without the cause. Yoru's and Asa's relationship is central to the plot, but it's completely half-assed after the Falling Devil arc ended.
