Have any of you all been past the age of 20 like I am at 30. Got new clothes, got a haircut, listened to decent music, no tattoos, no piercings, and yet still, not be able to leave the edgelord emo phase you had when you were 13? That still emotionally and socially you are still annoyingly your teenage self after years of therapy and medication it still is there and you can't cure it?

31.
I know who I am. Never felt the need to impress people just to be a good person. It was easy for me so idk what it's like for people who followed trends.

as long as you can function in society as an adult and date people more or less in your age range there's nothing at all wrong with that. Everyone is pretending anyways.

Edginess shit is almost always some faggot response to a lack of authority and autonomy in your life. Just because you got the job and look like a normal, productive human, doesn't mean shit if you were edgy about NPCs before your own NPC programming kicked in.
If you still find yourself being a faggot about it, find an actual outlet that challenges you and gives you a sense of agency and discipline in your life.

yeah despite being 26 I still behave pretty much the same way I did when I was 12 but then again back then everybody told me I was too mature for my age.

also are you the anon that told me to play hotel dusk over at r9k earlier today? (or I guess yesterday at this point)

40M.
you get more able to forgive people for their circumstances making them crazy.
you get wiser when you can see things play out over decades and you know what not to fall for.
you get better impulse control and you can build discipline.
you can develop spiritual and mindful practices that lengthen your fuse.

but no, you never really go beyond who you were at 13, not really. that's the mold you were poured into
