Having passion and ambition doesn't make you more easy to manipulate. It's the opposite of anything, having a drive and a goal and a fire inside means you won't tolerate being part of someone else's plan.

Besides who cares if the world rewards art or not. If you love art you love art, making art is its own reward. A passion shouldn't come with a price tag.

So far I've had a naive attitude that if I befriend people I could eventually "recruit" them and achieve my dream. So far everyone wants to be the leader. When I start setting up for the ideals in my mind it always gets stomped by my so-called friends
