So my best friend of 14 years has become so bad with money I'm now paying for both of our rents by mooching off my family members.
We're both fucked in the head fuck ups. He's bipolar and I'm schizophrenic. I'm a NEET and he's currently a drug dealer. He's a really shitty one because he's broke as shit all the time and owes some very scary people a lot of money. Naturally I really want to help my friend out because I don't want him to die or get in trouble. My family is really starting to get sick of my shit and I'm pretty sure are planning on cutting me off eventually. I'm not entirely sure what to do because if I stop giving him money or he dies I'm homeless, I can't just move out because of the shitty housing situation in my area. Moving back in with my family would be a nightmare. I feel like I'm fucked if I don't help him and fucked if I do. I'm not entirely sure what to do. I probably should have seen the warning signs he was cut off by both his parents, and hasn't been very good about paying people back. It's not malicious I know he's extremely distraught over how he feels about it. I feel though that I have no good options for how to move forward. Does anyone have any advice?

I won't read threads by a hopeless moron. OP is obviously not doing either of them any favors, but will never see it that way because... he's a hopeless moron.

Sounds like a pretty shit situation. Only thing i can think of is getting a job and trying to hold things together.
