Well, I'm back. Now I don't really know where to start, but I guess I could talk about my relationships with others.

When I try to engage with others, I tendo to feel as if I'm being constantly compared and judged. I see the way people interact with each other, and I usually feel as if I'll never compare, that people can see through me and know that I'm boring and uninteresting. When I see others having "better" or "happier" relationships than the ones I have, I get mad. I guess I unwittingly want the approval of others but I don't really expect love or affection from them, and a part of me would even be mad if I ever got it.

I'm not really agressive or violent, but I'm resentful and hateful. If I feel like someone's disrespecting me or not taking me seriously, I emotionally detach myself in an instant. But deep down I'm sensitive and any sort of cruelty or anger is usually born from spite or self loathing, so it's hard for me to stay mad for a long time and I usually move past that.

Objectively I suppose there must be valuable traits in me, but I don't really see them, and I don't think people do either. Rather, I think people are constantly judging me and looking down on me. Sometimes, seeing someone doing something better than me, or getting more affection than me feels as some sort of personal affront, even though the other person doesn't care about me. It's all self judgement and self loathing.

I haven't ever attempted suicide, although I tend to fantasize about it every once in a while. Although sometimes I feel empty, and that no matter how hard I try to find my own purpose in life, is all equally pointless.

I guess there must be more things about me that could point about some disorder or other, but that's all I can think of right now.

Hi, does anyone have recommendations for cutting off a family member? It's complicated but they have been abusive towards my mother for years now, but now may have a cancer diagnosis which has escalated their mistreatment. That being said, I cannot continue to allow them into my life with the mistreatment of my other family members and I don't know the best way forward. Kind of fear there will be displacement towards their fuck up and it will only make things worse. I'd post elsewhere, but really don't have much else of a place to ask except you guys, sorry.
