I get hit on once in a while and I don't think I'm anything special; definitely not without flaws.
Dress nicely, if you're a bit fluffy avoid form fitting clothes and shoot for things that accentuate features you like. If you have good arms, roll up your sleeves. If you have a broad chest maybe drop a couple buttons, that kind of thing.
Groom yourself intentionally, experiment a bit to find what looks best on you and roll with it.
Don't be afraid to be friendly but don't be weirdly outgoing. Holding the door is cool, cracking a joke surrounding a shared experience is cool, but outwardly initiating long committal conversations can make people uncomfortable. If *they* initiate that kind of thing, match their energy.
Finally, I know this is a cliche and may be counterproductive to my post but be yourself. Nobody wants to fall in love with a lie, nobody wants to fake being someone for conditional love. Be the best version of your authentic self and then strive to uphold that and it'll be the best thing you can do.
