How the hell do I know what I really look like to other people and what should I trust? This shit is bothering me to no end and it’s ruining my life, on top of that im meeting a woman I really like very soon and she says i look good on video call but i’m not sure if i will look the same to her in person.

Anon, there is no way to judge precisely by looking at photos. You can only get a general idea.
The only real way to know how attractive you are is to see if women get horny to have sex with you. If some women do that sometimes, you're attractive enough. If they do it all the time, you're hot. If they don't ever get horny for you, you're ugly.

You'll never know how you look to other people because you don't have their eyes. Depending on what their eyesight is and if they wear prescription or contact lenses. Some people are also colorblind and there are different types of colorblindness. People also have different opinions on what an attractive face is.

So yeah, you'll never know and you're overthinking it.She'll care more about how self conscious you are because it'll show in your confidence level. Worry less about your face and focus on your personality when you actually meet her. Or better yet, don't think and just enjoy what you're doing with her.

Some flaw with this perspective because there are some women who get horny for you but you miss it because you miss signals or the environment isn't right or they aren't easy women and actually want a long relationship before they do anything with you. Focal length makes a huge difference. If you look into it, I think you can probably find out which one corresponds to what a human eye sees and try to replicate that. This would probably give you an idea.

It's a trick of optics. Some people who look just fine take lousy photos. Some people look better in pics than in real life. Some big Hollywood stars would have it in their contracts that they could only be shot from the left (or right) because they thought the other side of their face was ugly. Professional photographers and famous models shoot literally hundreds of pics to find the 2 or 3 they'll use.

Then what’s the most accurate representation of what i look like? A proffesional grade camera or a non reversing mirror? I know i wont know exactly what i look like to other people but i’m just wondering what would the closest i could get to how i really look.

I know exactly what you mean and imo you can never truly know how you look to certain people at any angle so you just have to base it off how people treat you. If people want to be your friend or flirt with you then you're probably good looking and if people are rude to you and you can't get a date then you're probably bad looking. My face looks ok/normal from the front but from the side my cheeks stick out more than my jaw line which looks quite ugly so Idk how attractive I am either. I've had some attention from the opposite gender but not a crazy amount too so it neither points to me being attractive or ugly.

Pictures on not a reality of what you actually look like. I’m 5’1 and I tend to look way heavier than I am because my legs are so short. My mom’s the same way. She took a picture with our neighbor who is like 50 pounds heavier than her, and the neighbor looks thinner than my mom in the pic despite the weight difference. Lenses and lighting can be very distorting.
