This mentality always grates on my nerves, because it implies stepfathers are useless cucks who don't deserve respect. If a dude dates a single mom and proves himself to be a good father to the kids, isn't it a good thing that those kids have a positive male role model to look up to? Should those kids be punished just because their mom made a mistake in trusting the wrong guy to procreate with? Like it's fine to not want to sign up for that responsibility straight away if it's not for you, but don't peddle this idea that being a stepdad is inherently a bad thing.

This is an extremely generous interpretation of female behavior. You actually believe that line if you heard it for the average stepmom? I'm not going to get into this argument because I can already tell you have no interest in having a conversation where you are willing to give any women even the slightest bit of leniency, but I will say this: there is a vast, vast gulf of reasons for single mothers between soul-sucking harpies who have kids specifically to baby trap men and widows who have tragedy thrust upon them. A mother who takes her four year old son out of an abusive household is not a whore who has no self-control. A rape victim who is not allowed to get an abortion because her religious family will not allow it is not operating off "genetic greed". A wife who is abandoned by her husband of six years because he couldn't handle the responsibility of parenthood is not a bitch who deserves what she gets.
I know what you're getting at, I understand you are talking about the women who have kids young (like teenage and early twenties young) with guys who have zero intention of actually settling down with them, and while I don't necessarily believe young mistakes should automatically mean that they should be miserable for the rest of their lives, I do understand why anyone might be leery of getting involved in that situation. But while these women are common, they are not the only types of single mothers out there, and the women who end up alone with children due to men hurting them don't deserve to be treated like common whores.

For me, despite being very close with a couple. (Only hooked up with 1 of them relax) I chose to not date single mothers solely because of A. She will always prioritize her child rightfully so, that complicates intimacy. B. Highly likely to have Terrible repercussions on the influence of the child's development. You could do everything right and have a good bond but one day she's done and you're gone now that kid is gonna develop in a very messed up way or if you stick around you'll always be resented as the Faux-father. C. I would rather make an heir rather than inherit one. I have no issue with adoption or single mothers I find them very attractive, the issue is I would like to experience my own child befkre I consider another with their own.

Sure, there are rare cases where it turns out alright and where there isn't much blame to be found (my own adoptive grandpa is one of them), but it's far from an ideal dynamic. Men who avoid single mothers aren't punishing them. They have no obligation to pick up the pieces of a stranger's shattered life, especially not when that damage was self-inflicted.
The kids were punished entirely by their circumstances, fault for which lies squarely with their parents. The dad is typically a piece of shit, but that evidently didn't stop the mom from having his kids. Conversely, if she wisened up and left a shithead, she already did the best she could in the circumstances she found herself in.

It's arguably not good for society. The kind of guy who can actually be a loving husband and strong father figure would be likelier to have a stable family and raise good kids if he did so with a biological family and a woman without massive amounts of baggage. Call me heartless, but the apple doesn't tend to fall far from the tree, so spending scarce good men on repairing broken families prolongs the influence of poor dynamics (and genetics) in society.
