how can i, as a 40 yo woman, get to know men outside of work and dating apps?

yoga studios usually have like workshops and events outside of the normal classes that are more social so like you can show some guy your butt in a normal class and then look for him in a workshop or something there's usually silver foxes there trying to stay young and beautiful

If you look for a partner in place X, you will find people who are into X. If you look in a bar, you'll pair off with a drunk. If you look online, you'll find mostly just online types.
This sounds trite and obvious but it's very true for finding a partner and you can apply it. What kind of partner do you think would suit you? Someone who's active and outdoorsy? Start attending some hiking club, hunting group, whatever. More of a homebody? Trickier.
Also don't lie about yourself, to yourself, when assessing this. There's no point imagining a change in yourself then trying to pair off with someone who fits that theoretical future you.
Figure that out first, then 'where' will be a simpler problem to solve.
